12 Y aquéllos a lo largo del camino son los que han oído, pero después viene el diablo y arrebata la palabra de sus corazones, para que no crean y se salven.

Luke 8:12

Those by the wayside are they that hear
The word of God, though only by accident, and very carelessly, and without understanding what they hear:

then cometh the devil;
signified by the fowls of the air:

and taketh away the word out of their hearts,
or memories; that little of it, which is retained there, and diverts their minds from it by other objects; so that they quite forget what they have heard;

lest they should believe, and be saved:
this clause is only in Luke; and with it may be compared ( 2 Corinthians 4:4 ) for with true faith in Christ the sum and substance of the word salvation is connected; and Satan being an enemy to the salvation of souls, does all he can to hinder their faith in him.

10 y El dijo: A vosotros se os ha concedido conocer los misterios del reino de Dios, pero a los demás les hablo en parábolas, para que VIENDO, NO VEAN; Y OYENDO, NO ENTIENDAN.

11 La parábola es ésta: la semilla es la palabra de Dios.

12 Y aquéllos a lo largo del camino son los que han oído, pero después viene el diablo y arrebata la palabra de sus corazones, para que no crean y se salven.

13 Y aquéllos sobre la roca son los que, cuando oyen, reciben la palabra con gozo; pero éstos no tienen raíz profunda; creen por algún tiempo, y en el momento de la tentación sucumben.

14 Y la semilla que cayó entre los espinos, éstos son los que han oído, y al continuar su camino son ahogados por las preocupaciones, las riquezas y los placeres de la vida, y su fruto no madura.
