Proverbs 25:22

For thou shall heap coals of fire upon his head
Not to increase his punishment and damnation, the more aggravated by kindness shown him; but to bring him by such means to a sense of former injuries, and to shame for them, repentance of them, and love of the person injured, and carefulness for the future of doing him any further wrong; and the Lord shall reward thee:
with good things, for all the good done to thine enemy, whether it has the desired effect on him or not; or whether he rewards thee or not; see ( Romans 12:20 Romans 12:21 ) .

20 Como el que se quita la ropa en día de frío, o como el vinagre sobre la soda, es el que canta canciones a un corazón afligido.

21 Si tu enemigo tiene hambre, dale de comer pan, y si tiene sed, dale de beber agua;

22 porque así amontonarás brasas sobre su cabeza, y el SEÑOR te recompensará.

23 El viento del norte trae la lluvia, y la lengua murmuradora, el semblante airado.

24 Mejor es vivir en un rincón del terrado que en una casa con mujer rencillosa.
