Psalms 70:2

Let them be ashamed and confounded
In ( Psalms 40:14 ) it is added, "together"; (See Gill on Psalms 40:14);

that seek after my soul;
or "life"; in ( Psalms 40:14 ) it is added, "to destroy it"; for that was the end of their seeking after it;

let them be turned backward (See Gill on Psalms 40:14).

1 Oh Dios, apresúrate a librarme; apresúrate, oh SEÑOR, a socorrerme.
2 Sean avergonzados y humillados los que buscan mi vida; sean vueltos atrás y cubiertos de ignominia los que se complacen en mi mal.
3 Sean vueltos atrás por causa de su verguenza los que dicen: ¡Ajá, ajá!
4 Regocíjense y alégrense en ti todos los que te buscan; que digan continuamente: ¡Engrandecido sea Dios! los que aman tu salvación.
5 Mas yo estoy afligido y necesitado; oh Dios, ven pronto a mí. Tú eres mi socorro y mi libertador; SEÑOR, no te tardes.
