Ezekiel 10:13

13 I heard the wheels being called “the whirling wheels.”

Ezekiel 10:13 Meaning and Commentary

Ezekiel 10:13

As for the wheels, it was cried to them in my hearing
Or they were called, as the prophet heard in the vision, by the following name: O wheel,
or, "the wheel": for though there are several particular churches, yet they make up but one general assembly and Church of the firstborn, written in heaven; and will be all together in their perfect state, signified by the round form of the wheel; (See Gill on Ezekiel 1:15).

Ezekiel 10:13 In-Context

11 When they moved, they would go in any of the four directions, without turning as they moved. For wherever the head faced, the cherubim would go in that direction, without turning as they moved.
12 Their entire bodies, including their backs, hands, and wings, were full of eyes all around, as were their four wheels.
13 I heard the wheels being called “the whirling wheels.”
14 Each of the cherubim had four faces: the first face was that of a cherub, the second that of a man, the third that of a lion, and the fourth that of an eagle.
15 Then the cherubim rose upward. These were the living creatures I had seen by the River Kebar.
