Job 32:10

10 Therefore I say, ‘Listen to me; I too will declare what I know.’

Job 32:10 Meaning and Commentary

Job 32:10

Therefore I said, hearken to me
Thou O Job, and every one of you his friends, for the word is singular; though I am but a young man, yet if I have the Spirit of God, and am under the inspiration of the Almighty, I may be able to say something to you worth your hearing:

I also will show mine opinion;
for though for a while he was timorous and fearful of doing it, lest he should mistake and expose himself, yet having duly weighed and considered the above things, he was determined to do it.

Job 32:10 In-Context

8 But there is a spirit in a man, the breath of the Almighty, that gives him understanding.
9 It is not only the old who are wise, or the elderly who understand justice.
10 Therefore I say, ‘Listen to me; I too will declare what I know.’
11 Indeed, I waited while you spoke; I listened to your reasoning; as you searched for words,
12 I paid you full attention. But no one proved Job wrong; not one of you rebutted his arguments.
