Mark 12:24

And Jesus answering said unto them
Which they thought he was not able to do, but would have been silenced at once by them, as many of their antagonists had been:

do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the Scriptures, neither
the power of God?
what is expressed in Matthew affirmatively, is here put by way of interrogation, which, with the Jews, was a more vehement way of affirming; (See Gill on Matthew 22:29).

24 Jesus said to them, “Aren’t you mistaken, because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God?
25 When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage. Instead, they will be like the angels in heaven.
26 But concerning the dead rising, have you not read about the burning bush in the Book of Moses, how God told him, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’ ?
