16 Joash lay down with his ancestors. He was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel. His son Jeroboam succeeded him as king.

And Jehoash slept with his fathers
Died as they died:

and was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel;
where they were:

and Jeroboam his son reigned in his stead;
which was Jeroboam the second.
