Job 13:2

2 Just as you know, I also know; I'm not inferior to you.

Job 13:2 Meaning and Commentary

Job 13:2

What ye know, [the same] do I know also
Concerning God and his perfections, his sovereignty, holiness, justice, wisdom, power, goodness and concerning his providences, and his dealings with men in an ordinary or in an extraordinary way:

I [am] not inferior unto you;
as might be deduced from the preceding discourse; (See Gill on Job 12:3).

Job 13:2 In-Context

1 Look, my eye has seen it all; my ear has heard and understood it.
2 Just as you know, I also know; I'm not inferior to you.
3 But I want to speak to the Almighty; I would gladly present my case to God.
4 You, however, are plasterers of lies; ineffective healers, all of you.
5 Would that you were completely quiet; that would be your wisdom.
