Ezekiel 11:10

10 You will die by the sword; I will judge you at the border of Isra'el; and you will know that I am ADONAI.

Ezekiel 11:10 Meaning and Commentary

Ezekiel 11:10

Ye shall fall by the sword
Of the Chaldeans; not in the city of Jerusalem, but out of it, when it was broken up, and they fled: I will judge you in the border of Israel;
that is, inflict punishment on them, particularly by the sword; which was done at Riblah in the land of Hamath, where the sons of Zedekiah were slain, and all the princes of Judah, ( Jeremiah 52:9 Jeremiah 52:10 ) ; and this was on the border of the land of Israel, ( Numbers 34:8 Numbers 34:11 ) ; and ye shall know that I [am] the Lord;
who knows things, and foretells them before they are; and am able to accomplish all that is threatened; and am just and righteous in all my ways and works; and who am known by the judgments executed by me.

Ezekiel 11:10 In-Context

8 You are afraid of the sword, but I will bring the sword upon you," says Adonai ELOHIM.
9 "I will bring you out of it, hand you over to foreigners and execute judgments among you.
10 You will die by the sword; I will judge you at the border of Isra'el; and you will know that I am ADONAI.
11 This city will not be your cooking pot, but you will be the meat in it - I will judge you at Isra'el's frontier;
12 and you will know that I am ADONAI. For you have not lived by my laws or obeyed my rulings but have acted according to the rules of the nations surrounding you."'"
