Twisted Scripture Revelation 20:6

Jehovah’s Witnesses refer to this verse as their foundation for the belief that a spiritual resurrection of the “anointed class” took place in 1918. Those members of this upper class of spiritual persons were spiritually resurrected in 1918 and gained their eternal place to reign with Christ. Though disagreement exists among Christian scholars over the meaning of much of Revelation 20, there is no textual reason to support belief in a spiritual resurrection in 1918.
