So here in contrast with Paul's plain speech the Judaizers bring their fawning flattery. To shut you out (ekkleisai uma). From Christ as he will show ( Ephesians 5:4 ). That ye may seek them (ina autou zhloute). Probably present active indicative with ina as in pusiousqe ( 1 Corinthians 4:6 ) and ginwskomen ( 1 John 5:20 ). The contraction -ohte would be -wte, not -oute (Robertson, Grammar, p. 325).
