And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
- Not only the Jews, but the Arabs, who are the descendants of Ishmael, retain the rite of circumcision to this day; and the latter perform it, as the other Mahometanus also do, at the age of thirteen.
