Job 32:17

17 I too will answer;[a] yes, I will tell what I know.

Job 32:17 Meaning and Commentary

Job 32:17

[I said], I will answer also my part
Or take his turn in giving an answer to Job; what they had given being quite insufficient and unsuitable:

I also will show mine opinion;
knowledge, or sentiment; this for a while he was fearful of doing, but, upon a thorough and serious consideration of things, he determined upon it, and now repeats it, to assure he would do it; the reasons of which follow.

Job 32:17 In-Context

15 Job's friends are dismayed and can no longer answer; words have left them.
16 Should I continue to wait now that they are silent, now that they stand [there] and no longer answer?
17 I too will answer; yes, I will tell what I know.
18 For I am full of words, and my spirit compels me [to speak].
19 My heart is like unvented wine; it is about to burst like new wineskins.
