9 They departed from Marah and came to Elim.^[a] There were 12 springs of water and 70 date palms at Elim, so they camped there.

And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim
Which was eight miles from Marah:

and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and three score and ten
palm trees, and they pitched there;
being a convenient place of water for them,

7 They departed from Etham and turned back to Pi-hahiroth, which faces Baal-zephon, and they camped before Migdol.
