6 法 老 就 預 備 他 的 車 輛 ， 帶 領 軍 兵 同 去 ，

Exodus 14:6

And he made ready his chariot
Which he usually rode in when he went forth to war; for this seems to be a military chariot, and not for show or grandeur; and this was got ready not by himself, as Jarchi, but rather by his orders, as Aben Ezra:

and took his people with him;
the Greek version reads, "all his people"; not all his subjects, but his soldiers; at least a great number, and especially his cavalry.

4 我 要 使 法 老 的 心 剛 硬 ， 他 要 追 趕 他 們 ， 我 便 在 法 老 和 他 全 軍 身 上 得 榮 耀 ； 埃 及 人 就 知 道 我 是 耶 和 華 。 於 是 以 色 列 人 這 樣 行 了 。

5 有 人 告 訴 埃 及 王 說 ： 百 姓 逃 跑 。 法 老 和 他 的 臣 僕 就 向 百 姓 變 心 ， 說 ： 我 們 容 以 色 列 人 去 ， 不 再 服 事 我 們 ， 這 做 的 是 甚 麼 事 呢 ？

6 法 老 就 預 備 他 的 車 輛 ， 帶 領 軍 兵 同 去 ，

7 並 帶 著 六 百 輛 特 選 的 車 和 埃 及 所 有 的 車 ， 每 輛 都 有 車 兵 長 。

8 耶 和 華 使 埃 及 王 法 老 的 心 剛 硬 ， 他 就 追 趕 以 色 列 人 ， 因 為 以 色 列 人 是 昂 然 無 懼 地 出 埃 及 。
