7 摩 西 去 召 了 民 間 的 長 老 來 ， 將 耶 和 華 所 吩 咐 他 的 話 都 在 他 們 面 前 陳 明 。

Exodus 19:7

And Moses came and called for the elders of the people
After he had heard the above words from the mouth of God, he came down from the mount into the camp of Israel, and sent for the elders or principal men of the tribes and families of Israel to come to him:

and,
being gathered together,

laid before their faces all these words which the Lord commanded him;
expressed them in the plainest manner, set them in the clearest light to their minds and consciences; so that they thoroughly understood them, were fully convinced of the propriety of these things God required of them, and their obligation to observe them, and saw plainly the greatness and importance of what he promised unto them.

5 如 今 你 們 若 實 在 聽 從 我 的 話 ， 遵 守 我 的 約 ， 就 要 在 萬 民 中 作 屬 我 的 子 民 ， 因 為 全 地 都 是 我 的 。

6 你 們 要 歸 我 作 祭 司 的 國 度 ， 為 聖 潔 的 國 民 。 這 些 話 你 要 告 訴 以 色 列 人 。

7 摩 西 去 召 了 民 間 的 長 老 來 ， 將 耶 和 華 所 吩 咐 他 的 話 都 在 他 們 面 前 陳 明 。

8 百 姓 都 同 聲 回 答 說 ： 凡 耶 和 華 所 說 的 ， 我 們 都 要 遵 行 。 摩 西 就 將 百 姓 的 話 回 覆 耶 和 華 。

9 耶 和 華 對 摩 西 說 ： 我 要 在 密 雲 中 臨 到 你 那 裡 ， 叫 百 姓 在 我 與 你 說 話 的 時 候 可 以 聽 見 ， 也 可 以 永 遠 信 你 了 。 於 是 ， 摩 西 將 百 姓 的 話 奏 告 耶 和 華 。
