33 把 飯 擺 在 他 面 前 ， 叫 他 吃 ， 他 卻 說 ： 我 不 吃 ， 等 我 說 明 白 我 的 事 情 再 吃 。 拉 班 說 ： 請 說 。

Genesis 24:33

And there was set [meat] before them to eat
By the order of Bethuel or Laban, or both; or, "afterwards was set" ^F12; that is after care had been taken the camels, then food being provided was set before the men to refresh them: but he said, I will not eat until I have told mine errand;
or, "spoke my words" ^F13; delivered the message he was sent with, and declared the business he came about; which shows him to be a diligent faithful servant, who had his master's interest at heart, and preferred it to his necessary food: and he said;
either Bethuel or Laban, for both were present, to whom the servant directed his discourse, ( Genesis 24:47 Genesis 24:50 ) ; perhaps Laban spoke in the name of his father, and bid him speak on;
go on with his discourse until he had said all he had to say, signifying that they were ready to give attention to him.

32 那 人 就 進 了 拉 班 的 家 。 拉 班 卸 了 駱 駝 ， 用 草 料 餵 上 ， 拿 水 給 那 人 和 跟 隨 的 人 洗 腳 ，

33 把 飯 擺 在 他 面 前 ， 叫 他 吃 ， 他 卻 說 ： 我 不 吃 ， 等 我 說 明 白 我 的 事 情 再 吃 。 拉 班 說 ： 請 說 。

34 他 說 ： 我 是 亞 伯 拉 罕 的 僕 人 。

35 耶 和 華 大 大 地 賜 福 給 我 主 人 ， 使 他 昌 大 ， 又 賜 給 他 羊 群 、 牛 群 、 金 銀 、 僕 婢 、 駱 駝 ， 和 驢 。
