Genesis 29:11

And Jacob kissed Rachel
Which he did in a way of courtesy and civility; this was done after he had acquainted her with his relation to her; he saluted her upon that:

and lifted up his voice, and wept;
for joy at the providence of God that had brought him so opportunely to the place, and at the sight of a person so nearly related to him; and who he hoped would be his wife, and was the person designed of God for him.

9 雅 各 正 和 他 們 說 話 的 時 候 ， 拉 結 領 著 他 父 親 的 羊 來 了 ， 因 為 那 些 羊 是 他 牧 放 的 。

10 雅 各 看 見 母 舅 拉 班 的 女 兒 拉 結 和 母 舅 拉 班 的 羊 群 ， 就 上 前 把 石 頭 轉 離 井 口 ， 飲 他 母 舅 拉 班 的 羊 群 。

11 雅 各 與 拉 結 親 嘴 ， 就 放 聲 而 哭 。

12 雅 各 告 訴 拉 結 ， 自 己 是 他 父 親 的 外 甥 ， 是 利 百 加 的 兒 子 ， 拉 結 就 跑 去 告 訴 他 父 親 。

13 拉 班 聽 見 外 甥 雅 各 的 信 息 ， 就 跑 去 迎 接 ， 抱 著 他 ， 與 他 親 嘴 ， 領 他 到 自 己 的 家 。 雅 各 將 一 切 的 情 由 告 訴 拉 班 。
