11 　 神 又 對 他 說 ： 我 是 全 能 的 神 ； 你 要 生 養 眾 多 ， 將 來 有 一 族 和 多 國 的 民 從 你 而 生 ， 又 有 君 王 從 你 而 出 。

Genesis 35:11

And God said unto him, I [am] God Almighty
And so able to protect and defend him, and to fulfil all promises made to him, and to supply him with everything he wanted; being, as some choose to render the word, "God all sufficient", having a sufficiency of all good things in him to communicate to his people: be fruitful and multiply;
which carries in it a promise or prophecy that he should increase and multiply, though not he himself personally, he having but one son born after this, yet in his posterity: a nation, and a company of nations, shall be of thee;
the nation of Israel, called so after his name, and the twelve tribes, which were as so many nations, of which the above nation consisted: and kings shall come out of thy loins;
as Saul, David, Solomon, and, many others, who were kings of Israel and of Judah, and especially the King Messiah; yea, all his posterity were kings and priests, or a kingdom of priests, ( Exodus 19:6 ) .

9 雅 各 從 巴 旦 亞 蘭 回 來 ， 　 神 又 向 他 顯 現 ， 賜 福 與 他 ，

10 且 對 他 說 ： 你 的 名 原 是 雅 各 ， 從 今 以 後 不 要 再 叫 雅 各 ， 要 叫 以 色 列 。 這 樣 ， 他 就 改 名 叫 以 色 列 。

11 　 神 又 對 他 說 ： 我 是 全 能 的 神 ； 你 要 生 養 眾 多 ， 將 來 有 一 族 和 多 國 的 民 從 你 而 生 ， 又 有 君 王 從 你 而 出 。

12 我 所 賜 給 亞 伯 拉 罕 和 以 撒 的 地 ， 我 要 賜 給 你 與 你 的 後 裔 。

13 　 神 就 從 那 與 雅 各 說 話 的 地 方 升 上 去 了 。
