Genesis 41:29

Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all
the land of Egypt.
] Not only a sufficiency but an abundance, even to luxury, as when the Nile rose to sixteen cubits, as Pliny observes ^F13; which, though a natural cause, was owing to God, and that it should thus overflow for seven years successively, and cause such a continued plenty, can be ascribed to no other.

27 那 隨 後 上 來 的 七 隻 又 乾 瘦 又 醜 陋 的 母 牛 是 七 年 ， 那 七 個 虛 空 、 被 東 風 吹 焦 的 穗 子 也 是 七 年 ， 都 是 七 個 荒 年 。

28 這 就 是 我 對 法 老 所 說 ， 　 神 已 將 所 要 做 的 事 顯 明 給 法 老 了 。

29 埃 及 遍 地 必 來 七 個 大 豐 年 ，

30 隨 後 又 要 來 七 個 荒 年 ， 甚 至 埃 及 地 都 忘 了 先 前 的 豐 收 ， 全 地 必 被 饑 荒 所 滅 。

31 因 那 以 後 的 饑 荒 甚 大 ， 便 不 覺 得 先 前 的 豐 收 了 。
