歷代志上 29:21-30

21 次 日 ， 他 們 向 耶 和 華 獻 平 安 祭 和 燔 祭 ， 就 是 獻 公 牛 一 千 隻 ， 公 綿 羊 一 千 隻 ， 羊 羔 一 千 隻 ， 並 同 獻 的 奠 祭 ； 又 為 以 色 列 眾 人 獻 許 多 的 祭 。 那 日 ， 他 們 在 耶 和 華 面 前 吃 喝 ， 大 大 歡 樂 。

22 他 們 奉 耶 和 華 的 命 再 膏 大 衛 的 兒 子 所 羅 門 作 王 ， 又 膏 撒 督 作 祭 司 。

23 於 是 所 羅 門 坐 在 耶 和 華 所 賜 的 位 上 ， 接 續 他 父 親 大 衛 作 王 ， 萬 事 亨 通 ； 以 色 列 眾 人 也 都 聽 從 他 。

24 眾 首 領 和 勇 士 ， 並 大 衛 王 的 眾 子 ， 都 順 服 所 羅 門 王 。

25 耶 和 華 使 所 羅 門 在 以 色 列 眾 人 眼 前 甚 為 尊 大 ， 極 其 威 嚴 ， 勝 過 在 他 以 前 的 以 色 列 王 。

26 耶 西 的 兒 子 大 衛 作 以 色 列 眾 人 的 王 ，

27 作 王 共 四 十 年 ： 在 希 伯 崙 作 王 七 年 ， 在 耶 路 撒 冷 作 王 三 十 三 年 。

28 他 年 紀 老 邁 ， 日 子 滿 足 ， 享 受 豐 富 、 尊 榮 ， 就 死 了 。 他 兒 子 所 羅 門 接 續 他 作 王 。

29 大 衛 王 始 終 的 事 都 寫 在 先 見 撒 母 耳 的 書 上 和 先 知 拿 單 並 先 見 迦 得 的 書 上 。

30 他 的 國 事 和 他 的 勇 力 ， 以 及 他 和 以 色 列 並 列 國 所 經 過 的 事 都 寫 在 這 書 上 。

INTRODUCTION TO 1 CHRONICLES 29

This chapter relates how largely and liberally David, besides what he had before done, and his princes, offered towards defraying the expenses of building the temple, 1Ch 29:1-8 and the joy and thankfulness that he and his people expressed on that account, attended with prayers for Solomon, and offering sacrifices unto the Lord, 1Ch 29:9-21 and the chapter is closed, and so the book, with an account of the second unction of Solomon, the placing him on the throne, and the submission of all ranks of men unto him, and of the death of David, 1Ch 29:22-30.
