34 這 事 叫 耶 羅 波 安 的 家 陷 在 罪 裡 ， 甚 至 他 的 家 從 地 上 除 滅 了 。

1 Kings 13:34

And this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam
All the above things were sins in themselves, as building high places, and putting priests in them, whoever would; but the sense is, that these were the causes of punishment, or of evil things being inflicted on Jeroboam's family; sin is put for the punishment of sin, as it often is:

even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth;
so that it become utterly extinct; and the next thing we hear of is the sickness and death of his son.

32 因 為 他 奉 耶 和 華 的 命 指 著 伯 特 利 的 壇 和 撒 瑪 利 亞 各 城 有 邱 壇 之 殿 所 說 的 話 必 定 應 驗 。

33 這 事 以 後 ， 耶 羅 波 安 仍 不 離 開 他 的 惡 道 ， 將 凡 民 立 為 邱 壇 的 祭 司 ； 凡 願 意 的 ， 他 都 分 別 為 聖 ， 立 為 邱 壇 的 祭 司 。
