29 我 們 就 煮 了 我 的 兒 子 吃 了 。 次 日 我 對 他 說 ： 要 將 你 的 兒 子 取 來 ， 我 們 可 以 吃 。 他 卻 將 他 的 兒 子 藏 起 來 了 。

2 Kings 6:29

So we boiled my son, and did eat him
Thus what was predicted, by way of threatening, began to be accomplished, ( Deuteronomy 28:53 ) , (See Gill on Deuteronomy 28:53), and of which there were other instances of a like kind at the siege of Jerusalem, both by Nebuchadnezzar and Vespasian:

and I said unto her on the next day;
after her child had been wholly ate up:

give thy son, that we may eat him;
according to agreement:

and she hath hid her son;
either to save him alive, or to eat him herself alone.

27 王 說 ： 耶 和 華 不 幫 助 你 ， 我 從 何 處 幫 助 你 ？ 是 從 禾 場 ， 是 從 酒 醡 呢 ？

28 王 問 婦 人 說 ： 你 有 甚 麼 苦 處 ？ 他 回 答 說 ： 這 婦 人 對 我 說 ： 將 你 的 兒 子 取 來 ， 我 們 今 日 可 以 吃 ， 明 日 可 以 吃 我 的 兒 子 。

30 王 聽 見 婦 人 的 話 ， 就 撕 裂 衣 服 ； （ 王 在 城 上 經 過 ） 百 姓 看 見 王 貼 身 穿 著 麻 衣 。

31 王 說 ： 我 今 日 若 容 沙 法 的 兒 子 以 利 沙 的 頭 仍 在 他 項 上 ， 願 　 神 重 重 地 降 罰 與 我 ！
