55 為 要 記 念 亞 伯 拉 罕 和 他 的 後 裔 ， 施 憐 憫 直 到 永 遠 ， 正 如 從 前 對 我 們 列 祖 所 說 的 話 。

Luke 1:55

As he spake to our fathers
To David, of whose family Mary was; and to Jacob, or Israel, of whose stock she was; and to Isaac, in whom the seed was to be, called; and particularly,

to Abraham and to his seed for ever:
not his natural, but his spiritual seed; both among Jews and Gentiles, to the end of the world; to these God promised this mercy of a Saviour and Redeemer, and to these he performs it, and will to all generations.

56 馬 利 亞 和 以 利 沙 伯 同 住 ， 約 有 三 個 月 ， 就 回 家 去 了 。
