29 當 眾 人 聚 集 的 時 候 ， 耶 穌 開 講 說 ： 這 世 代 是 一 個 邪 惡 的 世 代 。 他 們 求 看 神 蹟 ， 除 了 約 拿 的 神 蹟 以 外 ， 再 沒 有 神 蹟 給 他 們 看 。

Luke 11:29

And when the people were gathered thick together
Upon this woman's lifting up her voice, and saying the things she did; or rather to see what sign he would give, which some had desired ( Luke 11:16 )

he began to say, this is an evil generation.
The Alexandrian copy, two copies of Beza's, and the Vulgate Latin, and Arabic versions read, "this generation is an evil generation"; and also it was an "adulterous one", as is added in ( Matthew 12:39 )

they seek a sign;
for they had asked one of him, ( Luke 11:16 )

and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the
prophet; one like unto it: (See Gill on Matthew 12:39)

27 耶 穌 正 說 這 話 的 時 候 ， 眾 人 中 間 有 一 個 女 人 大 聲 說 ： 懷 你 胎 的 和 乳 養 你 的 有 福 了 ！

28 耶 穌 說 ： 是 ， 卻 還 不 如 聽 神 之 道 而 遵 守 的 人 有 福 。

31 當 審 判 的 時 候 ， 南 方 的 女 王 要 起 來 定 這 世 代 的 罪 ； 因 為 他 從 地 極 而 來 ， 要 聽 所 羅 門 的 智 慧 話 。 看 哪 ！ 在 這 裡 有 一 人 比 所 羅 門 更 大 。
