25 把 他 們 所 求 的 那 作 亂 殺 人 、 下 在 監 裡 的 釋 放 了 ， 把 耶 穌 交 給 他 們 ， 任 憑 他 們 的 意 思 行 。

Luke 23:25

And he released unto them, him
Barabbas, who is not named, as being a detestable person, and unworthy to be named; and is therefore described by the infamous, though just character of him, as follows:

that for sedition and murder was cast into prison,
as in ( Luke 23:19 )

whom they had desired;
to be granted to them, and released; see ( Acts 3:14 )

but he delivered Jesus to their will;
to do as they would with him, to mock, and scourge, and crucify him.

23 他 們 大 聲 催 逼 彼 拉 多 ， 求 他 把 耶 穌 釘 在 十 字 架 上 。 他 們 的 聲 音 就 得 了 勝 。

24 彼 拉 多 這 才 照 他 們 所 求 的 定 案 ，

25 把 他 們 所 求 的 那 作 亂 殺 人 、 下 在 監 裡 的 釋 放 了 ， 把 耶 穌 交 給 他 們 ， 任 憑 他 們 的 意 思 行 。

26 帶 耶 穌 去 的 時 候 ， 有 一 個 古 利 奈 人 西 門 ， 從 鄉 下 來 ； 他 們 就 抓 住 他 ， 把 十 字 架 擱 在 他 身 上 ， 叫 他 背 著 跟 隨 耶 穌 。

27 有 許 多 百 姓 跟 隨 耶 穌 ， 內 中 有 好 些 婦 女 ； 婦 女 們 為 他 號 咷 痛 哭 。
