Mark 6:27

And immediately the king sent an executioner

and commanded his head to be brought;
ordered him to cut off his head in prison, and bring it away forthwith in a charger to him:

and he went and beheaded him in the prison;
according to his orders.

25 他 就 急 忙 進 去 見 王 ， 求 他 說 ： 我 願 王 立 時 把 施 洗 約 翰 的 頭 放 在 盤 子 裡 給 我 。

26 王 就 甚 憂 愁 ； 但 因 他 所 起 的 誓 ， 又 因 同 席 的 人 ， 就 不 肯 推 辭 ，

27 隨 即 差 一 個 護 衛 兵 ， 吩 咐 拿 約 翰 的 頭 來 。 護 衛 兵 就 去 ， 在 監 裡 斬 了 約 翰 ，

28 把 頭 放 在 盤 子 裡 ， 拿 來 給 女 子 ， 女 子 就 給 他 母 親 。

29 約 翰 的 門 徒 聽 見 了 ， 就 來 把 他 的 屍 首 領 去 ， 葬 在 墳 墓 裡 。
