Numbers 18:25

And the Lord spake unto Moses
And not unto Aaron, because a tithe out of the tithe was to be given to Aaron, as Aben Ezra observes, and it was not so proper that he should have this order to deliver to the Levites, in which he and his sons were so much concerned, and therefore it was given to Moses to acquaint them of it:

saying;
as follows.

23 惟 獨 利 未 人 要 辦 會 幕 的 事 ， 擔 當 罪 孽 ； 這 要 作 你 們 世 世 代 代 永 遠 的 定 例 。 他 們 在 以 色 列 人 中 不 可 有 產 業 ；

24 因 為 以 色 列 人 中 出 產 的 十 分 之 一 ， 就 是 獻 給 耶 和 華 為 舉 祭 的 ， 我 已 賜 給 利 未 人 為 業 。 所 以 我 對 他 們 說 ： 在 以 色 列 人 中 不 可 有 產 業 。

25 耶 和 華 吩 咐 摩 西 說 ：

26 你 曉 諭 利 未 人 說 ： 你 們 從 以 色 列 人 中 所 取 的 十 分 之 一 ， 就 是 我 給 你 們 為 業 的 ， 要 再 從 那 十 分 之 一 中 取 十 分 之 一 作 為 舉 祭 獻 給 耶 和 華 ，

27 這 舉 祭 要 算 為 你 們 場 上 的 穀 ， 又 如 滿 酒 醡 的 酒 。
