Deuteronomy 28:14

And thou shall not go aside from any of the words which I
command thee this day
Depart from them as a rule to walk by, turn out from them as a path to walk in, neglect and disobey them, and go into practices contrary to them: turning [to] the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve
them;
which to do was to break the first and principal table of the law, than which nothing was more abominable and provoking to God.

12 耶 和 華 必 為 你 開 天 上 的 府 庫 ， 按 時 降 雨 在 你 的 地 上 。 在 你 手 裡 所 辦 的 一 切 事 上 賜 福 與 你 。 你 必 借 給 許 多 國 民 ， 卻 不 至 向 他 們 借 貸 。

13 你 若 聽 從 耶 和 華 ─ 你 　 神 的 誡 命 ， 就 是 我 今 日 所 吩 咐 你 的 ， 謹 守 遵 行 ， 不 偏 左 右 ， 也 不 隨 從 事 奉 別 神 ， 耶 和 華 就 必 使 你 作 首 不 作 尾 ， 但 居 上 不 居 下 。

15 你 若 不 聽 從 耶 和 華 ─ 你 　 神 的 話 ， 不 謹 守 遵 行 他 的 一 切 誡 命 律 例 ， 就 是 我 今 日 所 吩 咐 你 的 ， 這 以 下 的 咒 詛 都 必 追 隨 你 ， 臨 到 你 身 上 ：

16 你 在 城 裡 必 受 咒 詛 ， 在 田 間 也 必 受 咒 詛 。
