23 那 時 ， 我 懇 求 耶 和 華 說 ：

Deuteronomy 3:23

And I besought the Lord at that time
When he was told he should die, and Joshua should succeed him; or when the two kings were slain, and their kingdoms conquered; this being the beginning, pledge, and earnest of what God had promised to do for the people of Israel; Moses was very desirous of living to see the work completed, and therefore sought the Lord by prayer and supplication:

saying;
as follows.

21 那 時 我 吩 咐 約 書 亞 說 ： 你 親 眼 看 見 了 耶 和 華 ─ 你 　 神 向 這 二 王 所 行 的 ； 耶 和 華 也 必 向 你 所 要 去 的 各 國 照 樣 行 。

22 你 不 要 怕 他 們 ， 因 那 為 你 爭 戰 的 是 耶 和 華 ─ 你 的 　 神 。

23 那 時 ， 我 懇 求 耶 和 華 說 ：

24 主 耶 和 華 阿 ， 你 已 將 你 的 大 力 大 能 顯 給 僕 人 看 。 在 天 上 ， 在 地 下 ， 有 甚 麼 神 能 像 你 行 事 、 像 你 有 大 能 的 作 為 呢 ？

25 求 你 容 我 過 去 ， 看 約 但 河 那 邊 的 美 地 ， 就 是 那 佳 美 的 山 地 和 利 巴 嫩 。
