Deuteronomy 32:44

And Moses came
To the people, as the Greek version, the heads of the people being gathered together according to his order, ( Deuteronomy 31:28 ) ; The Targum of Jonathan says, he came from the tabernacle, the house of instruction:

and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people;
which is observed both before and after the reading of it, to show the certainty of it, and how punctually and faithfully he had delivered it:

he, and Hoshea the son of Nun;
the same with Joshua, whose name at first was Hoshea, ( Numbers 13:16 ) , probably Joshua read the song to one part of the people, while Moses read it to the other.

42 我 要 使 我 的 箭 飲 血 飲 醉 ， 就 是 被 殺 被 擄 之 人 的 血 。 我 的 刀 要 吃 肉 ， 乃 是 仇 敵 中 首 領 之 頭 的 肉 。

43 你 們 外 邦 人 當 與 主 的 百 姓 一 同 歡 呼 ； 因 他 要 伸 他 僕 人 流 血 的 冤 ， 報 應 他 的 敵 人 ， 潔 淨 他 的 地 ， 救 贖 他 的 百 姓 。

44 摩 西 和 嫩 的 兒 子 約 書 亞 去 將 這 歌 的 一 切 話 說 給 百 姓 聽 。

45 摩 西 向 以 色 列 眾 人 說 完 了 這 一 切 的 話 ，

46 又 說 ： 我 今 日 所 警 教 你 們 的 ， 你 們 都 要 放 在 心 上 ； 要 吩 咐 你 們 的 子 孫 謹 守 遵 行 這 律 法 上 的 話 。
