48 亞 比 米 勒 和 跟 隨 他 的 人 就 都 上 撒 們 山 。 亞 比 米 勒 手 拿 斧 子 ， 砍 下 一 根 樹 枝 ， 扛 在 肩 上 ， 對 跟 隨 他 的 人 說 ： 你 們 看 我 所 行 的 ， 也 當 趕 緊 照 樣 行 。

Judges 9:48

And Abimelech got him up to Mount Zalmon
A mountain near Shechem, and thought to be the same with Salmon in ( Psalms 68:14 ) which seems to have had its name from the shade of the trees which grew upon it:

he and all the people that were with him;
his whole army:

and Abimelech took an axe in his hand, and cut down a bough from the
trees;
which grew upon Mount Zalmon:

and took it, and laid it on his shoulders;
and carried it along with him:

and said unto the people that were with him, what ye have seen me do,
make haste, and do as I have done;
take an axe, and every man cut down a bough with all possible haste, and lay it on his shoulder.

46 示 劍 樓 的 人 聽 見 了 ， 就 躲 入 巴 力 比 利 土 廟 的 衛 所 。

47 有 人 告 訴 亞 比 米 勒 說 ： 示 劍 樓 的 人 都 聚 在 一 處 。

49 眾 人 就 各 砍 一 枝 ， 跟 隨 亞 比 米 勒 ， 把 樹 枝 堆 在 衛 所 的 四 圍 ， 放 火 燒 了 衛 所 ， 以 致 示 劍 樓 的 人 都 死 了 ， 男 女 約 有 一 千 。

50 亞 比 米 勒 到 提 備 斯 ， 向 提 備 斯 安 營 ， 就 攻 取 了 那 城 。
