17 惟 有 你 的 眼 和 你 的 心 專 顧 貪 婪 ， 流 無 辜 人 的 血 ， 行 欺 壓 和 強 暴 。

Jeremiah 22:17

But thine eyes and thine heart [are] not but for thy
covetousness
He was wholly intent upon gratifying that lust; his heart was meditating, contriving, and forming schemes for that purpose; and his eyes were looking out here and there for proper objects and opportunities to exercise it: and for to shed innocent blood;
in order to get their money, goods, and possessions into his hands; avarice often leads to murder: and for oppression, and for violence, to do [it];
by making incursions, and seizing upon the properties of men, and converting them to his own use; so true it is, that covetousness, or the love of money, is the root of all evil, ( 1 Timothy 6:10 ) .

15 難 道 你 作 王 是 在 乎 造 香 柏 木 樓 房 爭 勝 麼 ？ 你 的 父 親 豈 不 是 也 吃 也 喝 、 也 施 行 公 平 和 公 義 麼 ？ 那 時 他 得 了 福 樂 。

16 他 為 困 苦 和 窮 乏 人 伸 冤 ， 那 時 就 得 了 福 樂 。 認 識 我 不 在 乎 此 麼 ？ 這 是 耶 和 華 說 的 。

17 惟 有 你 的 眼 和 你 的 心 專 顧 貪 婪 ， 流 無 辜 人 的 血 ， 行 欺 壓 和 強 暴 。

18 所 以 ， 耶 和 華 論 到 猶 大 王 約 西 亞 的 兒 子 約 雅 敬 如 此 說 ： 人 必 不 為 他 舉 哀 說 ： 哀 哉 ！ 我 的 哥 哥 ； 或 說 ： 哀 哉 ！ 我 的 姊 姊 ； 也 不 為 他 舉 哀 說 ： 哀 哉 ！ 我 的 主 ； 或 說 ： 哀 哉 ！ 我 主 的 榮 華 。

19 他 被 埋 葬 ， 好 像 埋 驢 一 樣 ， 要 拉 出 去 扔 在 耶 路 撒 冷 的 城 門 之 外 。
