Jeremiah 23:37

Thus shall thou say to the prophet
To Jeremiah, or any true prophet of the Lord; after the following manner should everyone address him, that made any inquiry of the will of the Lord by him: what hath the Lord answered thee? and what hath the Lord spoken?
this is repeated from ( Jeremiah 23:35 ) ; for the confirmation of it, and for the direction of the people, and to show how much the Lord approved of such a way of behaving towards his prophet, and himself by him.

35 你 們 各 人 要 對 鄰 舍 ， 各 人 要 對 弟 兄 如 此 說 ： 耶 和 華 回 答 甚 麼 ？ 耶 和 華 說 了 甚 麼 呢 ？

36 耶 和 華 的 默 示 你 們 不 可 再 提 ， 各 人 所 說 的 話 必 作 自 己 的 重 擔 （ 重 擔 和 默 示 原 文 同 ） ， 因 為 你 們 謬 用 永 生 　 神 、 萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 ─ 我 們 　 神 的 言 語 。

38 你 們 若 說 耶 和 華 的 默 示 ， 耶 和 華 就 如 此 說 ： 因 你 們 說 耶 和 華 的 默 示 這 句 話 ， 我 也 打 發 人 到 你 們 那 裡 去 ， 告 訴 你 們 不 可 說 耶 和 華 的 默 示 。

39 所 以 我 必 全 然 忘 記 你 們 ， 將 你 們 和 我 所 賜 給 你 們 並 你 們 列 祖 的 城 撇 棄 了 ；
