耶利米書 25:4

4 耶 和 華 也 從 早 起 來 ， 差 遣 他 的 僕 人 眾 先 知 到 你 們 這 裡 來 （ 只 是 你 們 沒 有 聽 從 ， 也 沒 有 側 耳 而 聽 ） ，

Jeremiah 25:4

And the Lord hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets,
&c.] Not only him, but many others, Micah, Nahum, Zephaniah, and others: rising early and sending [them];
not only the prophet, but the Lord himself is said to rise early, and send his prophets to them; which denotes his great care and concern for this people for their good; see ( Jeremiah 7:25 ) ; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear;
which is an aggravation of their sin; that whereas they had one prophet after another sent to them, and sent by the Lord himself; he rising early, and sending them; and they rising early, being sent to do their message; and yet were not hearkened and attended to.

2 先 知 耶 利 米 就 將 這 話 對 猶 大 眾 人 和 耶 路 撒 冷 的 一 切 居 民 說 ：

3 從 猶 大 王 亞 們 的 兒 子 約 西 亞 十 三 年 直 到 今 日 ， 這 二 十 三 年 之 內 ， 常 有 耶 和 華 的 話 臨 到 我 ； 我 也 對 你 們 傳 說 ， 就 是 從 早 起 來 傳 說 ， 只 是 你 們 沒 有 聽 從 。

4 耶 和 華 也 從 早 起 來 ， 差 遣 他 的 僕 人 眾 先 知 到 你 們 這 裡 來 （ 只 是 你 們 沒 有 聽 從 ， 也 沒 有 側 耳 而 聽 ） ，

5 說 ： 你 們 各 人 當 回 頭 ， 離 開 惡 道 和 所 作 的 惡 ， 便 可 居 住 耶 和 華 古 時 所 賜 給 你 們 和 你 們 列 祖 之 地 ， 直 到 永 遠 。

6 不 可 隨 從 別 　 神 事 奉 敬 拜 ， 以 你 們 手 所 作 的 惹 我 發 怒 ； 這 樣 ， 我 就 不 加 害 與 你 們 。
