Jeremiah 32:26

Then came the word of the Lord unto Jeremiah
This is an answer to the prophet's prayer, and particularly to the latter part of it; showing the consistency of the destruction of the city with his purchase of a field, and with God's promise of fields and vineyards being purchased and possessed again; and how each of these would be brought about: saying;
as follows:

24 看 哪 ， 敵 人 已 經 來 到 ， 築 壘 要 攻 取 這 城 ； 城 也 因 刀 劍 、 饑 荒 、 瘟 疫 交 在 攻 城 的 迦 勒 底 人 手 中 。 你 所 說 的 話 都 成 就 了 ， 你 也 看 見 了 。

25 主 耶 和 華 啊 ， 你 對 我 說 ： 要 用 銀 子 為 自 己 買 那 塊 地 ， 又 請 見 證 人 。 其 實 這 城 已 交 在 迦 勒 底 人 的 手 中 了 。

27 我 是 耶 和 華 ， 是 凡 有 血 氣 者 的 　 神 ， 豈 有 我 難 成 的 事 麼 ？

28 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 我 必 將 這 城 交 付 迦 勒 底 人 的 手 和 巴 比 倫 王 尼 布 甲 尼 撒 的 手 ， 他 必 攻 取 這 城 。
