Jeremiah 32:38

And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
] A comprehensive summary of the covenant of grace, which shall be made known to the Jews at the time of their conversion, and the blessings of it applied to them, and bestowed on them; though now a "loammi", ( Hosea 1:9 ) , is written upon them; see ( Jeremiah 30:21 ) ( Jeremiah 31:1 Jeremiah 31:33 ) .

36 現 在 論 到 這 城 ， 就 是 你 們 所 說 、 已 經 因 刀 劍 、 饑 荒 、 瘟 疫 交 在 巴 比 倫 王 手 中 的 ， 耶 和 華 ─ 以 色 列 的 　 神 如 此 說 ：

37 我 在 怒 氣 、 忿 怒 ， 和 大 惱 恨 中 ， 將 以 色 列 人 趕 到 各 國 。 日 後 我 必 從 那 裡 將 他 們 招 聚 出 來 ， 領 他 們 回 到 此 地 ， 使 他 們 安 然 居 住 。

38 他 們 要 作 我 的 子 民 ， 我 要 作 他 們 的 　 神 。

39 我 要 使 他 們 彼 此 同 心 同 道 ， 好 叫 他 們 永 遠 敬 畏 我 ， 使 他 們 和 他 們 後 世 的 子 孫 得 福 樂 ，

40 又 要 與 他 們 立 永 遠 的 約 ， 必 隨 著 他 們 施 恩 ， 並 不 離 開 他 們 ， 且 使 他 們 有 敬 畏 我 的 心 ， 不 離 開 我 。
