Jeremiah 39:15

Now the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut
up in the court of the prison
This prophecy was before the taking of the city, and after the prophet had been took out of the dungeon by Ebedmelech; though here inserted after the city was taken; and that to show the great regard the Lord has to such who show favour to his prophets; for though we have no account of the accomplishment of this prophecy, there is no doubt to be made of it; and that Ebedmelech was saved from the general destruction, as is here predicted: saying:

13 護 衛 長 尼 布 撒 拉 旦 和 尼 布 沙 斯 班 ─ 拉 撒 力 、 尼 甲 • 沙 利 薛 ─ 拉 墨 ， 並 巴 比 倫 王 的 一 切 官 長 ，

14 打 發 人 去 ， 將 耶 利 米 從 護 衛 兵 院 中 提 出 來 ， 交 與 沙 番 的 孫 子 亞 希 甘 的 兒 子 基 大 利 ， 帶 回 家 去 。 於 是 耶 利 米 住 在 民 中 。

15 耶 利 米 還 囚 在 護 衛 兵 院 中 的 時 候 ， 耶 和 華 的 話 臨 到 他 說 ：

16 你 去 告 訴 古 實 人 以 伯 • 米 勒 說 ， 萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 ─ 以 色 列 的 　 神 如 此 說 ： 我 說 降 禍 不 降 福 的 話 必 臨 到 這 城 ， 到 那 時 必 在 你 面 前 成 就 了 。

17 耶 和 華 說 ： 到 那 日 我 必 拯 救 你 ， 你 必 不 致 交 在 你 所 怕 的 人 手 中 。
