60 耶 利 米 將 一 切 要 臨 到 巴 比 倫 的 災 禍 ， 就 是 論 到 巴 比 倫 的 一 切 話 ， 寫 在 書 上 。

Jeremiah 51:60

So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come
upon Babylon
The evil of punishment predicted and threatened: this he delivered, not by word of mouth to Seraiah to relate when he came to Babylon; but he wrote it in a book for him reread; and he wrote it himself; Baruch, his amanuensis, not being now with him: [even] all these words that are written against Babylon;
in this and the preceding chapter: this book written by Jeremiah was a copy of them.

58 萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 巴 比 倫 寬 闊 的 城 牆 必 全 然 傾 倒 ； 他 高 大 的 城 門 必 被 火 焚 燒 。 眾 民 所 勞 碌 的 必 致 虛 空 ； 列 國 所 勞 碌 的 被 火 焚 燒 ， 他 們 都 必 困 乏 。

59 猶 大 王 西 底 家 在 位 第 四 年 ， 上 巴 比 倫 去 的 時 候 ， 瑪 西 雅 的 孫 子 、 尼 利 亞 的 兒 子 西 萊 雅 與 王 同 去 （ 西 萊 雅 是 王 宮 的 大 臣 ） ， 先 知 耶 利 米 有 話 吩 咐 他 。

62 又 說 ： 耶 和 華 啊 ， 你 曾 論 到 這 地 方 說 ： 要 剪 除 ， 甚 至 連 人 帶 牲 畜 沒 有 在 這 裡 居 住 的 ， 必 永 遠 荒 涼 。
