11 現 在 當 向 耶 和 華 ─ 你 們 列 祖 的 　 神 認 罪 ， 遵 行 他 的 旨 意 ， 離 絕 這 些 國 的 民 和 外 邦 的 女 子 。 」

Ezra 10:11

Now therefore make confession to the Lord God of your fathers,
&c.] Of their sin, and express their detestation of it, and repentance for it:

and do his pleasure;
obey his will, and particularly in this case:

and separate yourselves from the people of the land;
the Canaanites, &c. have no fellowship with them, make no covenants, contracts, and alliances with them for the future;

and from the strange wives;
they had taken; put them away.

9 於 是 ， 猶 大 和 便 雅 憫 眾 人 ， 三 日 之 內 都 聚 集 在 耶 路 撒 冷 。 那 日 正 是 九 月 二 十 日 ， 眾 人 都 坐 在 　 神 殿 前 的 寬 闊 處 ； 因 這 事 ， 又 因 下 大 雨 ， 就 都 戰 兢 。

10 祭 司 以 斯 拉 站 起 來 ， 對 他 們 說 ： 你 們 有 罪 了 ； 因 你 們 娶 了 外 邦 的 女 子 為 妻 ， 增 添 以 色 列 人 的 罪 惡 。

11 現 在 當 向 耶 和 華 ─ 你 們 列 祖 的 　 神 認 罪 ， 遵 行 他 的 旨 意 ， 離 絕 這 些 國 的 民 和 外 邦 的 女 子 。 」

12 會 眾 都 大 聲 回 答 說 ： 我 們 必 照 著 你 的 話 行 ，

13 只 是 百 姓 眾 多 ， 又 逢 大 雨 的 時 令 ， 我 們 不 能 站 在 外 頭 ， 這 也 不 是 一 兩 天 辦 完 的 事 ， 因 我 們 在 這 事 上 犯 了 大 罪 ；
