John 3:24

For John was not yet cast into prison.
] As he afterwards was by Herod, for the sake of Herodias, because he reproved Herod for taking her to be his wife, when she was wife to his brother Philip; see ( Matthew 14:3 Matthew 14:4 ) ; and this circumstance shows, that these things were done before that journey of Christ into Galilee, mentioned in ( Matthew 4:12 Matthew 4:13 ) .

22 這 事 以 後 ， 耶 穌 和 門 徒 到 了 猶 太 地 ， 在 那 裡 居 住 ， 施 洗 。

23 約 翰 在 靠 近 撒 冷 的 哀 嫩 也 施 洗 ； 因 為 那 裡 水 多 ， 眾 人 都 去 受 洗 。
