24 百 姓 回 答 約 書 亞 說 ： 我 們 必 事 奉 耶 和 華 ─ 我 們 的 　 神 ， 聽 從 他 的 話 。

Joshua 24:24

And the people said unto Joshua
A third time, that as by the mouth of two or three witnesses everything is confirmed, so by three testimonies of the same persons:

the Lord our God will we serve;
as they had before declared, and to which they add:

and his voice will we obey;
or his word, as the Targum, not only his word of command, but his essential Word, the Son of God.

22 約 書 亞 對 百 姓 說 ： 你 們 選 定 耶 和 華 ， 要 事 奉 他 ， 你 們 自 己 作 見 證 罷 ！ 他 們 說 ： 我 們 願 意 作 見 證 。

23 約 書 亞 說 ： 你 們 現 在 要 除 掉 你 們 中 間 的 外 邦 　 神 ， 專 心 歸 向 耶 和 華 ─ 以 色 列 的 　 神 。

24 百 姓 回 答 約 書 亞 說 ： 我 們 必 事 奉 耶 和 華 ─ 我 們 的 　 神 ， 聽 從 他 的 話 。

25 當 日 ， 約 書 亞 就 與 百 姓 立 約 ， 在 示 劍 為 他 們 立 定 律 例 典 章 。

26 約 書 亞 將 這 些 話 都 寫 在 　 神 的 律 法 書 上 ， 又 將 一 塊 大 石 頭 立 在 橡 樹 下 耶 和 華 的 聖 所 旁 邊 。
