And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded
The same with Iddo, as Hillerus ^F8 thinks; and some suppose this to be the name of the son as well as the father, but called Azariah, to distinguish him from him, see ( 2 Chronicles 15:8 ) on whom came, as the Targum, the spirit of prophecy, instructing him what to say to Asa; and the Jews say ^F9 he is the same with Iddo, and he the same that was sent to Jeroboam, to reprove him for the altar he built.

2 Tā chūlai yíngjiē Yàsā , duì tā shuō , Yàsā hé Yóudà , Biànyǎmǐn zhòngrén nǎ , yào tīng wǒ shuō , nǐmen ruò shùncóng Yēhéhuá , Yēhéhuá bì yǔ nǐmen tóng zaì . nǐmen ruò xúnqiú tā , jiù bì xún jiàn . nǐmen ruò lí qì tā , tā bì lí qì nǐmen .

3 Yǐsèliè rén bú xìn zhēn shén , méiyǒu xùn huì de jìsī , yĕ méiyǒu lǜfǎ , yǐjing hǎojiǔ le .

4 Dàn tāmen zaì jí nán de shíhou guī xiàng Yēhéhuá Yǐsèliè de shén , xúnqiú tā , tā jiù beì tāmen xún jiàn .

5 Nàshí , chūrù de rén bùdé píngān , liè guó de jūmín dōu zāo dà luàn .
