Níxīmǐjì 6:1-9

1 Sānbālā , Duōbǐyǎ , Yalābó rén Jīshàn , hé wǒmen qíyú de chóudí , tīngjian wǒ yǐjing xiū wán le chéngqiáng , qízhōng méiyǒu pòliè zhī chù ( nàshí wǒ hái méiyǒu ān mén shān ) .

2 Sānbālā hé Jīshàn jiù dǎfa rén lái jiàn wǒ , shuō , qǐng nǐ lái , wǒmen zaì Anuó píngyuán de yī gè cūnzhuāng xiāng huì . tāmen què xiǎng haì wǒ .

3 Yúshì wǒ chāiqiǎn rén qù jiàn tāmen , shuō , wǒ xiànzaì bànlǐ dà gōng , bùnéng xià qù . yān néng tíng gōng xià qù jiàn nǐmen ne .

4 Tāmen zhèyàng sì cì dǎfa rén lái jiàn wǒ , wǒ dōu rúcǐ huídá tāmen .

5 Sānbālā dì wǔ cì dǎfa púrén lái jiàn wǒ , shǒu lǐ ná zhe wèi fēng de xìn ,

6 Xìn shang xiĕ zhe shuō , waìbāngrén zhōng yǒu fēngshēng , Jiāshīmù( jiù shì Jīshàn jiàn èr zhāng shí jiǔ jié ) yĕ shuō , nǐ hé Yóudà rén móu fǎn , xiūzào chéngqiáng , nǐ yào zuò tāmende wáng .

7 Nǐ yòu paì xiānzhī zaì Yēlùsǎlĕng zhǐ zhe nǐ xuānjiǎng , shuō zaì Yóudà yǒu wáng . xiànzaì zhè huà bì chuán yǔ wáng zhī . suǒyǐ qǐng nǐ lái , yǔ wǒmen bǐcǐ shāngyì .

8 Wǒ jiù chāiqiǎn rén qù jiàn tā , shuō , nǐ suǒ shuō de zhè shì , yígaì méiyǒu , shì nǐ xīnli niēzào de .

9 Tāmen dōu yào shǐ wǒmen jùpà , yìsi shuō , tāmende shǒu bì ruǎnfuò , yǐzhì gōngzuò bùnéng chéngjiù . shén a , qiú nǐ jiāngù wǒde shǒu .

INTRODUCTION TO NEHEMIAH 6

Sanballat and his brethren, hearing the wall was finished, sent to Nehemiah, to have a meeting with him at a place named, which he refused, Ne 6:1,2, then they sent him a terrifying letter, suggesting that he, and the Jews with him, would be treated as rebels, since their intention, as reported, was to make him king, which letter he regarded not, Ne 6:3-9, then they employed some that pretended to be prophets to advise him to flee to the temple for safety, which he rejected, Ne 6:10-14 and so the work went on and was finished, though there was a secret correspondence carried on between their enemies and some false brethren among themselves, Ne 6:15-19.
