Lièwángjìshang 8:16-24

16 Tā shuō , zì cóng wǒ lǐng wǒ mín Yǐsèliè chū Āijí yǐlái , wǒ wèicéng zaì Yǐsèliè gè zhīpaì zhōng xuǎnzé yī chéng jiànzào diàn yǔ wèi wǒ míng de jū suǒ , dàn jiǎnxuǎn Dàwèi zhìlǐ wǒ mín Yǐsèliè .

17 Suǒluómén shuō , wǒ fù Dàwèi céng lì yì , yào wèi Yēhéhuá Yǐsèliè shén de míng jiàn diàn .

18 Yēhéhuá què duì wǒ fù Dàwèi shuō , nǐ lì yì wèi wǒde míng jiàn diàn , zhè yìsi shén hǎo .

19 Zhǐshì nǐ bùkĕ jiàn diàn , wéi nǐ suǒ shēng de érzi bì wèi wǒ míng jiàn diàn .

20 Xiànzaì Yēhéhuá chéngjiù le tā suǒ yīngxǔ de huà , shǐ wǒ jiēxù wǒ fù Dàwèi zuò Yǐsèliè de guó wèi , yòu wèi Yēhéhuá Yǐsèliè shén de míng jiànzào le diàn .

21 Wǒ yĕ zaì qízhōng wèi yuē guì yùbeì yī chù . yuē guì neì yǒu Yēhéhuá de yuē , jiù shì tā lǐng wǒmen lièzǔ chū Āijí dì de shíhou , yǔ tāmen suǒ lì de yuē .

22 Suǒluómén dāng zhe Yǐsèliè huì zhòng , zhàn zaì Yēhéhuá de tán qián , xiàng tiān jǔ shǒu shuō ,

23 Yēhéhuá Yǐsèliè de shén a , tiān shàng dì xià méiyǒu shén kĕ bǐ nǐde . nǐ xiàng nà jìnxīn xíng zaì nǐ miànqián de púrén shǒu yuē shī cíaì .

24 Xiàng nǐ púrén wǒ fù Dàwèi suǒ yīngxǔ de huà xiànzaì yìngyàn le . nǐ qīn kǒu yīngxǔ , qīn shǒu chéngjiù , zhēng rújīn rì yíyàng .

INTRODUCTION TO 1 KINGS 8

This chapter gives an account of the introduction of the ark into the temple, 1Ki 8:1-9 of the glory of the Lord filling it, 1Ki 8:10,11 of a speech Solomon made to the people concerning the building of the temple, and how he came to be engaged in it, 1Ki 8:12-21, of a prayer of his he put up on this occasion, requesting, that what supplications soever were made at any time, or on any account, by Israelites or strangers, might be accepted by the Lord, 1Ki 8:22-53, and of his blessing the people of Israel at the close of it, with some useful exhortations, 1Ki 8:54-61, and of the great number of sacrifices offered up by him, and the feast he made for the people, upon which he dismissed them, 1Ki 8:62-66.
