Yēlìmǐshū 49:23-27

23 Lún Dàmǎsè . Hāmǎ hé yà Ěr bá méng xiū , yīn tāmen tīngjian xiōngè de xìnxī jiù xiāohuà le . hǎi shang yǒu yōuchóu , bùdé píngjìng .

24 Dàmǎsè fā ruǎn , zhuǎn shēn taópǎo . zhàn jīng jiāng tā zhuō zhù . tòngkǔ yōuchóu jiāng tā zhuāzhù , rú chǎn nán de fùrén yíyàng .

25 Wǒ suǒ xǐlè kĕ chēngzàn de chéng , wèihé beì piĕ qì le ne .

26 Tāde shàonián rén bì pú dǎo zaì jiē shang . dāng nà rì , yīqiè bīng dīng bì mò mò wú shēng . zhè shì wàn jūn zhī Yēhéhuá shuō de .

27 Wǒ bì zaì Dàmǎsè chéng zhōng shǐ huǒ zhe qǐ , shāo miè biàn Hādá de gōngdiàn .

This chapter contains prophecies concerning the judgments of God on several nations and kingdoms, chiefly bordering on the land of Israel; on the Ammonites, Jer 49:1-6; on the Edomites, Jer 49:7-22; on the kingdom of Damascus, or the Syrians, Jer 49:23-27; on the Kedarenes or Arabians, Jer 49:28-33; and on the Elamites or Persians, Jer 49:34-39.
