9 Mǐjiā wèn tā shuō , nǐ cóng nǎli lái . tā huídá shuō , cóng Yóudà de Bólìhéng lái . wǒ shì Lìwèi rén , yào zhǎo yī gè kĕ zhù de dìfang .

Judges 17:9

And Micah said unto him, whence comest thou?
&c.] For as he might ask for a meal, or for a night's lodging, it was but natural to put such a question to him, as from whence he came, and what was his business in these parts? or whither he was going?

and he said unto him, I am a Levite of Bethlehemjudah;
the tribe he was of was Levi, and so a Levite by tribe and office, and the place he came last from, and where he had sojourned awhile, was Bethlehem, a city in the tribe of Judah:

and I go to sojourn where I may find a place;
the most convenient to abide in, where he could get a livelihood.

8 Zhè rén líkāi Yóudà de Bólìhéng chéng , yào zhǎo yī gè kĕ zhù de dìfang . xíng lù de shíhou , dào le Yǐfǎlián shān dì , zǒu dào Mǐjiā de jiā .

10 Mǐjiā shuō , nǐ kĕyǐ zhù zaì wǒ zhèlǐ , wǒ yǐ nǐ wéi fù , wèi jìsī . wǒ mĕi nián gĕi nǐ shí Shĕkèlè yínzi , yī tào yīfu hé dù rì de shíwù . Lìwèi rén jiù jìn le tāde jiā .

11 Lìwèi rén qíngyuàn yǔ nà rén tóng zhù . nà rén kàn zhè shàonián rén rú zìjǐ de érzi yíyàng .
