16 Lì jiǎ de érzi Yuēná dá de zǐsūn néng zūnshǒu xiān rén suǒ fēnfu tāmende méng , zhè bǎixìng què méiyǒu tīng cóng wǒ .

Jeremiah 35:16

Because the son of Jonadab the son of Rechab
Here we have the contrast between the Rechabites and the Israelites; the obedience of the one, and the disobedience of the other; the design of which is to aggravate and expose the sin of the Jews, since the former have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded
them;
that particular commandment of not drinking wine, which they had never once violated in such a course of time; nor could they now be prevailed upon, even by the prophet himself, to do it: but this people hath not hearkened unto me;
the Lord their God, their father that bought them, made them, and established them. Gross ingratitude! ( Deuteronomy 32:6 ) .

14 Lì jiǎ de érzi Yuēná dá suǒ fēnfu tā zǐsūn bùkĕ hē jiǔ de huà , tāmen yǐjing zūnshǒu , zhídào jīnrì yĕ bú hē jiǔ , yīnwei tāmen tīng cóng xiān zǔ de fēnfu . wǒ cóng zǎo qǐlai jǐngjiè nǐmen , nǐmen què bú tīng cóng wǒ .

15 Wǒ cóng zǎo qǐlai , chāiqiǎn wǒde púrén zhòng xiānzhī qù , shuō , nǐmen gèrén dāng huí tóu , líkāi è dào , gǎi zhēng xíngwéi , bù suícóng shìfèng bié shén , jiù bì zhù zaì wǒ suǒ cìgĕi nǐmen hé nǐmen lièzǔ de dì shang . zhǐshì nǐmen méiyǒu tīng cóng wǒ , yĕ méiyǒu zè ĕr ér tīng .

17 Yīncǐ , Yēhéhuá wàn jūn zhī shén , Yǐsèliè de shén rúcǐ shuō , wǒ yào shǐ wǒ suǒ shuō de yīqiè zāihuò líndào Yóudà rén hé Yēlùsǎlĕng de yīqiè jūmín . yīnwei wǒ duì tāmen shuōhuà , tāmen méiyǒu tīng cóng . wǒ hūhuàn tāmen , tāmen méiyǒu dá yīng .
