16 Chéng de chǐcùn nǎi shì rúcǐ , bĕi miàn sì qiā wǔ bǎi zhǒu , nán miàn sì qiā wǔ bǎi zhǒu , dōng miàn sì qiā wǔ bǎi zhǒu , xī miàn sì qiā wǔ bǎi zhǒu .

Ezekiel 48:16

And this shall be the measures thereof
Of the city: the north side four thousand and five hundred;
that is, measures or reeds: the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side
four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and
five hundred;
in all eighteen hundred measures or reeds, as in ( Ezekiel 48:35 ) which denotes the largeness of the Gospel church, especially in the latter day; when Jews and Gentiles will be converted, and multitudes, east, west, north and south, will be gathered to it; and as it is an equilateral square, this shows the perfection, firmness, stability, and duration of the church of Christ; so the holy city, the New Jerusalem, is for the same reasons said to be foursquare, ( Revelation 21:16 ) .

15 Zhè èr wàn wǔ qiā zhǒu qiánmian suǒ shèngxia wǔ qiā zhǒu kuān zhī dì yào zuò sú yòng , zuòwéi zào chéng gaì fáng jiāo yĕ zhī dì . chéng yào zaì dāngzhōng .

16 Chéng de chǐcùn nǎi shì rúcǐ , bĕi miàn sì qiā wǔ bǎi zhǒu , nán miàn sì qiā wǔ bǎi zhǒu , dōng miàn sì qiā wǔ bǎi zhǒu , xī miàn sì qiā wǔ bǎi zhǒu .

17 Chéng bì yǒu jiāo yĕ , xiàng bĕi èr bǎi wǔ shí zhǒu , xiàng nán èr bǎi wǔ shí zhǒu , xiàng dōng èr bǎi wǔ shí zhǒu , xiàng xī èr bǎi wǔ shí zhǒu .

18 Kào zhe shèng gōng dì de yú dì , dōng zhǎng yī wàn zhǒu , xī zhǎng yī wàn zhǒu , yào yǔ shèng gōng dì xiāng dĕng . qízhōng de tǔchǎn yào zuò chéng neì gōngrén de shíwù .
