Ezra 9:5

And at the evening sacrifice I rose up from my heaviness
The signs and tokens of it, particularly sitting on the ground; or "from my fasting" ^F14, having eaten nothing that day, it being early in the morning when he was told the above case:

and having rent my garment and my mantle;
which he had done before, and still kept them on him in the same case:

fell upon my knees, and spread out my hands unto the Lord my God;
in the posture and with the gesture of an humble supplicant.

3 Wǒ yī tīngjian zhè shì , jiù sī liè yīfu hé waì paó , bá le tóufa hé hú xū , jīng jù yōu mēn ér zuò .

4 Fán wèi Yǐsèliè shén yányǔ zhàn jīng de , dōu yīn zhè beìlǔ guī huí zhī rén suǒ fàn de zuì jùjí dào wǒ zhèlǐ lái . wǒ jiù jīng jù yōu mēn ér zuò , zhídào xiàn wǎn jì de shíhou .

5 Xiàn wǎn jì de shíhou wǒ qǐlai , xīn zhōng chóukǔ , chuān zhe sī liè de yǐ paó , shuāng xī guì xià xiàng Yēhéhuá wǒde shén jǔ shǒu ,

6 Shuō , wǒde shén a , wǒ bào kuì méng xiū , bù gǎn xiàng wǒ shén yǎng miàn . yīnwei wǒmen de zuìniè miè dǐng , wǒmen de zuìè tāo tiān .

7 Cóng wǒmen lièzǔ zhídào jīnrì , wǒmen de zuìè shén zhòng . yīn wǒmen de zuìniè , wǒmen hé jūnwáng , jìsī dōu jiāo zaì waì bāng liè wáng de shǒu zhōng , shāhaì , lǔlǜe , qiǎngduó , liǎn shang méng xiū zhēng rújīn rì de guāngjǐng .
